Brief biography of Dr. Yang Gao
Dr. Yang Gao is a Professor in Department of Geomatics Engineering at The University of Calgary. His research interests focus on high-precision GNSS and integration with other enabling sensors such as INS. He has authored more than 250 publications and has served on the editorial boards of several journals including Journal of Geodesy, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Journal of Geodesy and Geodynamics, Journal of Global Positioning Systems etc. He is an IAG fellow and has been a chair/guest/adjunct professor at several universities in Canada and aboard. He is a Changjiang Scholar and is the Founding President of International Association of Professionals in Global Positioning Systems (CPGPS).
